These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of Virginia DMV Master Pass (the “Service”). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
1. Educational purpose & no affiliation
The Service is an independent study tool. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored bythe Virginia Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV). Practice questions are for educational purposes only and are based on publicly available information from the Virginia Driver’s Manual. We do not guarantee that you will pass any official examination.
2. Accounts
- You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide.
- You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure.
- You must notify us of any unauthorized use of your account.
- You must be old enough to form a binding contract, or have a parent/guardian’s consent.
3. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Copy, scrape, resell, or redistribute our questions or content.
- Attempt to disrupt, reverse-engineer, or gain unauthorized access to the Service.
- Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of these Terms.
4. Purchases & payments
- The Service offers a free tier and a paid “Pro” upgrade.
- Pro access is planned as a one-time $19.99 purchase. Payments are not currently available. When payments launch, they will be handled by our authorized payment provider. There is no subscription and no recurring billing.
- A successful Pro purchase will unlock Pro features of the current Virginia product for as long as the Service is offered.
- Prices and features may change; we will provide notice of material changes.
5. Intellectual property
The Service, including its content, design, and software, is owned by us or our licensors and is protected by applicable laws. You receive a limited, non-transferable license to use the Service for your personal, non-commercial study.
6. Disclaimer of warranties
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that practice content reflects the current official examination.
7. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for any loss arising from your use of or inability to use the Service, including any examination outcome.
8. Changes to the Service and Terms
We may modify or discontinue parts of the Service, and we may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
9. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Virginia, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles.
