This Privacy Policy explains how Virginia DMV Master Pass (“we,” “us,” or “the Service”) collects, uses, and protects your information when you use our website and practice-test platform. By using the Service, you agree to the practices described here.
Information we collect
- Account information. When you register, we collect your email address and authentication details through our auth provider (Supabase). If you sign in with Google, we receive basic profile information from Google.
- Usage and progress data. We store your quiz attempts, answers, scores, and progress so we can show your dashboard and track improvement.
- Payment information. If you purchase Pro once payments become available, they will be handled by our authorized payment provider. We do not store your full card details on our servers.
- Technical and analytics data. We collect anonymous usage analytics (for example via Vercel Analytics), such as pages visited and general device information, to improve the Service.
How we use your information
- To provide and personalize the practice-test experience and your dashboard.
- To create and manage your account and purchases.
- To improve our content, features, and performance.
- To communicate important updates about the Service.
- To detect, prevent, and address security or technical issues.
Third-party services
We rely on trusted third-party providers to operate the Service, including Supabase (authentication and database), Vercel (hosting and analytics), Google (optional sign-in). When payments launch, our authorized payment provider will also process payment data. Each provider processes data under its own privacy policy. We do not sell your personal information.

Data retention
We keep your account and progress data for as long as your account is active. You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by contacting us.

- Access, correct, or delete your personal information.
- Export your progress data.

Children’s privacy
The Service is intended for learner-permit applicants, who in Virginia may be as young as 15½. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has provided us information, please contact us so we can remove it.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will revise the “Last updated” date above when we do, and significant changes may be communicated through the Service.
